Fields of Practice

All artistic disciplines are welcome, including chefs and culinary practitioners.
This residency is particularly suitable for group stays and collaborative creation.
Applicants working in textiles, graphic design, and printmaking are especially encouraged to apply.

Studio

A studio workspace is located inside the facility.

The bedroom and kitchen area are connected to the working space, creating an environment where living and creating can take place seamlessly together.

The building is currently under renovation.

The first floor includes a RISO studio and guest rooms for SARUYA HOTEL, while additional guest rooms are located on the second floor. The residency space is located on

The residency space includes:

  • Bedroom
  • Kitchen
  • Atelier / studio space
  • toilet

Please note that the shower room is shared. Residents may use the shared shower facilities within the building.

Details

  • Residency duration: 1 week to 3 months
  • Base fee: from ¥140,000 per group for one week, and from ¥290,000 per group for one month.
    (Fees vary depending on the number of residents.)
    ＊Discounts are available for long-term stays of up to three months.
  • Please note that food expenses, transportation costs, and production materials are not included in the residency fee.
