Fields of Practice


All artistic fields are welcome. Preference is given to artists working in textiles, graphic design, and printmaking.

Studio

The shared studio is located in the same building as the accommodation.

Each resident is provided with a dedicated work desk in the studio.

Rooms

The shared studio is located on the first floor, and there are four guest rooms on the second floor.

All rooms are traditional Japanese-style rooms equipped with tatami mats, shoji screens, and futons.

 

Facilities

Each artist is provided with:

  • One private room
  • One designated workspace in the shared studio with a personal work desk

The following facilities are shared:

  • Kitchen
  • Refrigerator
  • Bathroom
  • Internet access

Details

  • Residency duration: 1–3 months
  • Accommodation: 4 rooms in the building
  • Base fee: from ¥132,300 per month per room.
    (Fees vary depending on the room type.)
    ＊Discounts are available for long-term stays of up to three months.
  • Please note that food expenses, transportation, and material costs are not included in the residency fee.
  • There is a rooftop on the third floor of the building.
